FAQ’S

  • Booking is essential, by completing the form below or you can call us.

Enjoy a free initial taster session before committing to a block of classes.

Payments can be made by bank transfers.

  • We offer blocks of classes and unfortunately drop ins are not possible.

We recommend an initial taster session before committing to full block(s)

Unfortunately we can’t issue refunds but if you have to miss a pre-paid class we are happy for you to make up your time at another class.

This excludes Therapy yoga, meditation, kirtan and workshops / retreats which can be paid per an individual session.

  • Please bring a suitable yoga mat, non-slip if possible. You’ll also need to bring a blanket or beach towel with you for relaxation and to provide extra padding for the spine and knees. You might also want to bring a drink with you.

  • Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing and layers are best if you feel the cold, as you will cool down during relaxation. We practice yoga barefoot, though you can use non-slip socks if your feet get cold.

  • Absolutely. The type sessions we provide are for everybody at all levels and accessible for students who are not flexible, or have health conditions. The only thing we ask before you start with us is to complete a health questionnaire before you start the class so we can support you fully in class.

If you do have any concerns, please get in touch.

  • As part of our commitment to you, we will provide you with a Health Questionnaire to complete before you start with us.

This will allow you to discuss any health concerns with your tutor, who will be able to advise you on how to get the most from the class, yoga to focus on and where to modify.

If you are in any way concerned though, please do get in touch HERE.

  • We run weekly online meditation sessions via online meeting platform Zoom. It’s easy to set up and feedback from classes is fantastic, with people telling me that it’s like having a 1:1 session, with the added bonus of no travel time.

We have a professional Zoom account that is safe and secure, all you need to remember is that other people will be able to see you when you “enter” the session.

    How do I get started?

    • You need enough space to make sure you have space to move your arms and legs without banging into furniture.

    • You will need a laptop, tablet / iPad or smartphone, with a camera that’s good enough for me to able to see you.

    • You need to sign up for a free account (visit zoom.us), you don’t need to pay for the extra time, I’ve done all that. You will be asked to choose a password for your Zoom account, make sure you keep a note of this.

    • Have returned your completed health questionnaire and paid for your class (we’ll then send you a link for the class you are attending.

All you need to do when it is time for your class is click on the link we’ve sent you. Depending on how you’ve set things up, you might need the ID code and password for the meeting, and your personal Zoom password, so have them handy.

Once in the meeting, select “Speaker View” which will keep me large on your screen when I start teaching. I “Mute” all class participants so that it keeps me pinned to your device screen. You can “unmute” yourself though very easily if you need to.

It’s always better if you can plug your device into the mains rather than running off the battery. For some reason it keeps the internet more stable.

And that’s it, all you have to do now is enjoy your class and relax!

If you do have any queries or have problems entering the meeting get in touch so we can help you.
